Visa Prepaid Debit Cards
If you are not a cash carrier, but want the flexibility of cash, OFCU is now offering a great solution - VISA Prepaid Debit Cards. VISA Prepaid Debit Cards offer the flexibility of cash, and the security of a debit card.
As an OFCU member, you can purchase a VISA Prepaid Debit Card, and load amounts between $25.00 - $2,500 from your OFCU account or pay cash straight to your card. VISA Prepaid Debit Cards can be used for purchases at most merchants where VISA debit is accepted. Once you spend the funds on the VISA Prepaid Debit Card, the card can be reloaded with funds from your OFCU account or online with your OFCU Visa Platinum Credit Card. You can even set up Direct Deposit from your employer direct to your Visa Prepaid Debit Card.

Everyday
The VISA Prepaid Debit Card offers security as well as convenience and the VISA Prepaid Debit Card can be replaced if it is lost or stolen.
Students
Use a VISA Prepaid Debit Card during the school semester. Parents can provide their student with a card and load it with the student's allowance, helping the student budget their money.
Travel
Stick to your travel budget by loading funds to your VISA Prepaid Debit Card and using the card on your vacation.
Important message:
The new Prepaid My Card Manager site is now live. Existing cardholders will need to create a new login using the “Get Started” link and choose the option “I have a card.” You will now have only one user login to access all your Reloadable Prepaid cards on the Reloadable My Card Manager website. Existing cards must be registered on the My Card Manager website before you attempt to purchase additional cards for yourself; be sure to log into My Card Manager before purchasing another card. Also, be sure to be logged in before linking your other prepaid reloadable to your user login.

Card Controls Frequently Asked Questions
How do I turn my Debit/Credit card OFF or ON?
From the main Card Controls and Alerts screen, select the toggle switch to turn your card ON/OFF.
How quickly does the ON/OFF status (or other limitations) on my card take effect?
Card Control changes are effective instantly, so you have complete control of your card.
Can I manage Card Controls and Alerts on more than one Debit/Credit Card?
Yes. From the main Card Controls and Alerts screen, select the Debit/Credit Card from the list of cards on your OFCU account.
If I turn my Debit/Credit card OFF, will my recurring transactions be blocked?
No, your recurring transactions will not be blocked. They will continue to be processed, even when your card is turned OFF.
If I turn my Debit/Credit card OFF, will previously authorized transactions be blocked?
No, any previously authorized transactions will not be blocked. They will continue to be processed, even after your card is turned OFF.
How do I customize my Debit/Credit Card alerts and specify alert types?
Select Alerts and Control Preferences and set your preferences by Merchant Type, Transaction Type, and Spend Limits. You may also restrict your card from international use in Location Type.
Where do I specify whether to receive alerts by email, text, or push notification?
From the main Card Controls and Alerts screen, select the Alert Delivery Options button. This will allow you to select any or all of the options for alerts.
Can I use Card Controls and Alerts to notify OFCU about my travel plans?
No, travel notifications cannot be submitted via Card Controls and Alerts at this time. Please contact us at 800-376-9000 before you travel, so your Debit/Credit Card activity is not flagged as fraud.
How do I turn OFF Debit/Credit Card alerts?
In Card Controls and Alerts, turn OFF each alert in the individual menus for Merchant Type, Transaction Type, Spend Limits, and Location Type.
